MBD Simulation on a Piston Assembly

AIM : Perform motion analysis on piston assembly.

Objectives : 1) Create 3D models of each part and assemble the piston system

2) Run MBD simulations according to problem statements given and obtain individual linear displacement plots.

3) Superimpose all plots to compare results.

CASE 1 - (tutorial)

CASE 2 - 10mm positive offset

CASE 3 - 10mm negative offset

Superimpose all 3 plots :

Result : All MBD simulations were run succesfully. From the superimposed plot we can observe that there is no difference in linear displacement but difference is only in starting point.
