Wiring harness is an assembly of various wires , equipments and connectors supported by various clips and other mounting accesories . In our context we will keep our focus on automotive wiring harness design.

Flatening Workbench

Flatenning is done to simplyfy the designed wiring harness assembly, and straighnten the bundle and differentiate with ease.

Defining the flatenning properties

Flatenning parameters include

flatenning algorithm, scaling, drawing properties, orientation and representation of bundle, cot-tubes, connectors

1Extract option will help to import the harness to the work bench

2. Flatten command will generate the flattended harness based on the properties defined.
