Week-3 Challenge: ADVISOR Tool

Question#1:

Conclusion:

Simulated EV_defaults_in file with cargo mass 500kg with all other default conditions and the vehicle can only run upto 41.4 km with FTP drive cycle and the SOC becomes zero at this point.

Question#2:

Conclusion:

Simulated the above model with ESS_PB85 Battery pack and found that the vehicle can run upto 71.1 Km with SOC has dropped to 67% left after 71.1kms of run.

Question#3:

Performed gradeability test with PRIUS_Jpn_defaults_in file at diffrent speed and tabulated the results as follows and the screenshot of those results were attached as .png file below for reference

Conclusion:

From the above table it is clearly observed that when the speed of the vehicle increases then the gradeability percentage decreases and vice versa.
