- Search for list and prepare a list with drop down menu, make it as 4
- Connect all lines from item 0 to item 3 in list. create

- Search for wall by curve in library and insert
- Search for wall type, level and insert
- Insert slider from library and rename it to height of wall
- Connect the list to wall by curve
- Connect wall type to wall type in wall by curve and height
- Connect level to level in wall by curve and height
- Connect the slider, height of wall to height in wall by curve and height

RESULT : Conceptual layout of floor plan is created using dynamo

3) Create an array of model elements in Revit. Use dynamo to vary the properties of model elements by using the slider or code block
Ans.
AIM : To create an array of model elements in revit and to vary the properties of model elements by using the slider or code block in Dynamo
TOOLS USED :
- Manage
- Dynamo
- Column
- Rotate
PROCEDURE :
- Open a new project file in revit
- Draw four columns from architecture tab
- Go to manage tab and open dynamo
- A separate window opens for dynamo
- Search for select model elements and insert it from library

- Click on select option to select the model elements which we created in revit
- Insert a code block, rename it as degree and Write the degree as 60

- Insert a family instance.set rotation and connect it with degree and elements

- Open revit file and we can see that columns rotate exactly 60 degrees

- Otherwise we can adjust the rotation of model elements by inserting integer slider in dynamo

RESULT : An array of model elements are created in revit and its properties are varied using code block in dynamo
4) Create a conceptual mass in Revit and develop a parametric column by dividing the surfaces and apply the concepts similar to used in parametric walkway modelling. Use triangular bent or square shaped panels to add finish to the parametric column
Ans.
AIM : To create a conceptual mass in Revit and develop a parametric column by dividing the surfaces and apply the concepts similar to used in parametric walkway modelling and to use triangular bent or square shaped panels to add finish to the parametric column
TOOLS USED :
- Family
- Level
- Workplane
- Spline throgh points
- Create form
- Divide surface
- Triangle bent
- Polygon
PROCEDURE :
- Open a new family i.e conceptual mass and select metric mass

- Set the level with an offset of 60' in the elevation view and rename it considering roof height

- Click on floor plan view and set the workplane

- Draw a cuve using spline through points element from toolbar in elevation view and open it in 3d view
- Select the control point and set the reference and select showDr
- Select the polygon and draw it at every point

- Select all the control points and click on form option
- Then curve turns into surface

- Now click on divide surface tool
- Select the pattern as triangle bent increase the number in the grids for smooth surface

- Click on the new and select family and select curtain panel pattern based wall
- Select the triangle bent pattern
RESULT : A conceptual mass is created in Revit and a parametric column is developed by dividing the surfaces and a triangle bent pattern is used to add finish to the parametric column

5) Use Dynamo to work on developing a Parametric Stadium. List your parameters and use the visual programming approach to complete the modelling, You can use the concepts discussed in parametric high rise tower in class for reference.
