Hood design-Week 2

A car hood is also know as bonnet. It is the exterior sheet metal part which aslo refer the BIW part or the automotive. Hood is cover the engine area.

1. This is input surface of the car hood which is design by stayling team.

2. Due to symmetrical modelinng we have to use half surface of the input surface.

3. With the help of the master section we havee to design the inner pannel which provide the strength of the outer pannel during crash worthiness and also prove strength on the top.

4. This is the all necessary thing which required the hood design but here support rod is missing for the we have to required car enviroment.

5. This is the draft analysis of the inner pannel.

6. Complete assembly design of the car hood. This design is done on the behalf of the enginnering parameter and AIS standard.
