Creating Bar Bending schedule, Different Door types, and Creation of standard drawing templates using AutoCAD
AIM: Create the templates as shown in Figures. by using blocks and attributes commands
Introduction: Take the size of the title block as per industry standards or you can assume it as per the size of the paper. Use text and attributes wherever required. After creating the title block you need to save it as a block with names: Custom1_titleblock and Custom2_titleblock, respectively.
Procedure:
step 1) for first templet
go to layer property add layer as line layer for table and gives it cyan colour
the add one more layer as text layer for text and shown it by white colour
then select table line command from layer property
then select the line command
and draw a table as showing below with imperial standard size
by using line, offset and trim command
we draw the table of size 8'X20' size
and gives 100mm width line layer for external walls ( which is visible in printing only )
step 2) text
select text line layer from layer property
and use DTEX command for text
or also taken from annotation>text
and select proper size of text
and give naming as per dwg.
step3) save it as a block with names: Custom1_titleblock
after creating templet
go for block command (BLOCK)
on that we take name as Custom1_titleblock
then go for pic point and select interaction point and enter
then go for select object
and by using cross window or selecting window then entered
and go for delete and finally click on ok, now we create a block
Procedure: for second templet
step 1) draw a table
go to layer property add layer as line layer for table and gives it cyan colour
the add one more layer as text layer for text and shown it by white colour
then select table line command from layer property
then select the line command
and draw a table as showing below with imperial standard size
by using line, offset and trim command
we draw the table of size12'X35' size
step 2) text
select text line layer from layer property
and use DTEX command for text
or also taken from annotation>text
and select proper size of text
and give naming as per dwg.
step3) save it as a block with names: Custom1_titleblock
after creating templet
go for block command (BLOCK)
on that we take name as Custom2_titleblock
then go for pic point and select interaction point and enter
then go for select object
and by using cross window or selecting window then entered
and go for delete and finally click on ok, now we create a block
Result: we draw a templets by using auto cad 2019 using modify & design commands and after that, create the title block to save it as a block with names: Custom1_titleblock and Custom2_titleblock, respectively
note: above templets are attach to challenge in pdf format as Templets 1 pdf
2) AIM: Create the doors type for warehouse as shown in the Figure. You need to create each door type as per standard size or given dimensions. Create the blocks of this door type after creating them.
Introduction: create a door as per standard size, using line command, offset and internal frame(draft command) and crate a block as door elevation
Procedure: for door 1
1 step) draw frame of door
take a rectangle from ribbon
and draw it by @2330mmX2750mm as door size
then take offset of 300mm from three sides excluding one vertical side
then again take offset pf 15mm as panel
then take offset on same distance menace of 1950/3 mm
and offset every line at distance of 8" on both sides
then same do for vertical axis and offset it
2nd step) Internal panel design
take offset of 25 from external lines
and make rectangle
again offset of 15mm then last offset of 35mm
then draw intersecting lines on corner
and copy it as row of 3 and having 4 columns
Procedure: for door 2 with handle lock
draw frame of door
take a rectangle from ribbon
and draw it by @2330mmX2750mm as door size
then take offset of 300mm from three sides excluding one vertical side
then again take offset pf 15mm as panel
then take offset on same distance
and offset every line at distance of 8" on both sides
final drawing
final step
save it as a block with names: door elevation
after creating door
go for block command (BLOCK)
on that we take name as door elevation
then go for pic point and select interaction point and enter
then go for select object
and by using cross window or selecting window then entered
and go bor delete and finally click on ok, now we create a block
result: we draw a door frames of 2330X1750mm size, and draw panels design and all
and then make as block of name door elevation
Note: attach above pdf files as name challenge 9, 2 for reference
3) AIM: Create each symbol as a block with the name given in the legend. After creating the blocks arrange them in the legend as shown in the Figure.
Introduction: draw a table(legend) after crating individual symbol block and gives it naming of block by using BLOCK command
Procedure
step1) draw a symbol and create it as block
example, symbol of wall bracket by using line command from ribbon
or using drawing command
draw a circle of - radius by using circle command
draw the intersection perpendicular line through circle
and then draw bottom stand by using line command
step2) then create block
by using block command
give name as symbol name like wall bracket
then pick point after that select object and make convert to block
then ok
same do for all symbols
step3) create legend
draw a table by using line command with proper size and make 11 rows and 6 columns
and insert the blocks one by one
from insert>block definition>block
by name insert it and give name front of that do it for all symbols
and make it as final
result: we create symbol legend by using drawing command and block it with name by block command
Note: attach above pdf files as name challenge 9, 4 for reference
4) AIM: Create the door type for residential building as a block. Save the name of the blocks as type. Use given dimensions or assume dimensions as per industry standards.
Introduction: create a door as per standard size, using line command, offset and internal frame(draft command) and crate a block as type
Procedure:
step1) draw a door frame of D1, D2 and D3
draw a door frame by selecting a rectangle option from ribbon
make unit on ft, inches (engineering)
draw rectangle of @6'11"X2'10" @6'11"X3'4" and @6'11"X2'9" for D1,D2, and D3 respectively
then take offset of 1" on three sides excluding one vertical size
again take same offset on same distance using OFFSET command
step 2) internal panel design for D1,D2, and D3
for D1
make lock handle
by using line command, select line command from ribbon
and draw handle and also circle by using circle command
for D2
draw a double panel door of different design
first for left side panel
make a rectangle of size @2'8"X 11"
and then take internal offset of 1" for 4 times by using OFFSET command
then take offset of 2" and last offset with 1" distance
now, right side panel
make a rectangle of size @2'8"X 2'5"
and then take internal offset of 1" for 4 times by using OFFSET command
and make uniform divide for 3rows and 4 columns
and make small rectangle on 1" gap
and take offset on that small rectangle with 0.8" ices
and trim extra lines using trim command
then draw circle of radius by using circle command from ribbon
for D3
take 1" offset for 2 times from last line
then draw lock handle
or copy lock handle from 1st door frame and paste here
then draw rectangle of size
2'X2'5" by selecting rectangle option
then take offset of 1"
and draw hatch between that
by using HATCH command with 45 scale
D1,D2 and D3 are
now Procedure for D4,D5 and D6
step 1) draw a door frame of D4, D5 and D6
draw a door frame by selecting a rectangle option from ribbon
make unit on ft, inches (engineering)
draw rectangle of @6'11"X3'4" for D4,D5, and D6
then take offset of 1" on three sides excluding one vertical size
again take same offset on same distance using OFFSET command
2 step) internal frame for D4,D5 and D6
copy the D2 internal frame and
for D4,D5 and D6
now for D6 make a rounded at top portion by using arc command at uniform offset of arc height
and trim extra lines using TRIM command
now,
door 5 frame
copy door internal of D2
and draw same rectangles panels for left side pannels as same as right side pannel
with uniform size by using line,OFFSET and rectangle command
now for door 4 frame
copy internal frame of D5
make a rounded at top portion by using arc command at uniform offset of arc height
and trim extra lines using TRIM command
now create a block of TYPE name
by using block command
give name as symbol name TYPE
then pick point after that select object and make convert to block
then ok
Result : we crate door frames of D1, D2, D3, D4, D5 and D6 doors, by using auto cad in that use modify and edit commands with step by step, brief details are mansion with procedure
Note: attach above pdf files as name challenge 9, 4 for reference
5) AIM: Create each shape as a block as shown in the Figure. Save the block and insert them on the table as shown in the Figure.
Introduction: draw a table(legend) after crating individual symbol block and gives it naming of block by using BLOCK command and make a table
Procedure
step1) draw a symbol and create it as block
example, symbol of bar
draw a horizontal bar of length 750mm
using line command
then draw hook by using arc or circle with proportion
and gives detail by using text command
by using DTEXT with modify size
step2) then create block
by using block command
give name as symbol name like A(20mm)
then pick point after that select object and make convert to block
then ok
do for all symbols, draw and create block with name
step3) create legend
draw a table by using line command with proper size and make 11 rows and 6 columns
and insert the blocks one by one
from insert>block definition>block
by name insert it and give name front of that do it for all symbols
and make it as final
result: we create symbol legend by using drawing command and block it with name by block command
Note: attach above pdf files as name challenge 9, 5 for reference
