- A piece of furniture for holding clothes, purses, etc.
- Wardrobe, in furniture, a large cupboard, usually equipped with drawers, a mirror, and other devices, used for storing clothes.
- The name of wardrobe was then given to a room in which the wall-space was filled with closets and lockers.
- A wardrobe with more compartments will help you separate your all the belongings.
- Front elevation- Also called an entry elevation, the front elevation of a home plan shows features such as entry doors, windows, the front porch and any items that protrude from the home, such as side porches or chimneys.
- Carcase elevation- The view of body of a furniture piece designed for storage as a chest of drawers or wardrobe without the drawers doors hardware etc.

INTRODUCTION-
- Floor plan-
- In architecture and building engineering, a floor plan is a drawing to scale, showing a view from above, of the relationships between rooms, spaces, traffic patterns, and other physical features at one level of a structure.
- Dimensions are usually drawn between the walls to specify room sizes and wall lengths.
- A scale diagram of the arrangement of rooms in one storey of a building.
- Floor plans make it easier to check if a space works for its purpose.
- A floor plan helps with any potential challenges, redesigning and functionality goals.
- This can help greatly with in depth planning and building stages.
- Floor plans highlight both the interior and outdoor of a space.

Q3. Create the Kitchen Layout as shown in the Figure below. Also, use proper dimension techniques to dimension the kitchen layout. Also, insert text wherever required. All dimensions are in mm.
AIM- To draw the detailed kitchen layout as shown in figure.
INTRODUCTION-
- Kitchen layout plan-
- The kitchen layout is the shape that is made by the arrangement of the countertop, major appliances and Storage areas.
- This floor plan creates the kitchen's work triangle – the path that you make when moving from the refrigerator to the sink, to the range to prepare a meal.
- The effectiveness of space usetilize is very much depend to the kitchen layout, a suitable kitchen layout ensure the efficiency of space planning and kitchen work flow.
- One of the most basic layout principles is the kitchen work triangle. The work triangle is an imaginary line drawn from each of the three primary work stations in the kitchen.
- Kitchen work triangle is the area defined by the locations of the refrigerator, the range or cooktop, and the sink.
- When we are choosing the efficien kitchen layout for your home, make sure we are considering the kitchen work triangle.
- Choosing a kitchen layout depends on the space available, physical layout of your kitchen, efficiency and convenience desired.

AIM- To draw the raft foundation layout plan using different command in AutoCAD.
INTRODUCTION-
- Raft foundation layout-
- A raft foundation, also called a mat foundation, is essentially a continuous slab resting on the soil that extends over the entire footprint of the building, thereby supporting the building and transferring its weight to the ground.
- Raft foundation is a thick reinforced concrete slab which spreads over a large area of soil and provides support for several columns and load bearing walls.
- Rafts are most often used these days when the strata is unstable or a normal strip foundation would cover more than 50% of the ground area beneath the building.
- When there are also situations where there may be areas of movement in the strata, raft foundation is used.
- Raft foundation is generally used to support structures like residential or commercial buildings where soil condition is poor, storage tanks, silos, foundations for heavy industrial equipment etc.
- Raft foundation transmits the total load from the building to the entire ground floor area.
