Creating the Wardrobe Detailed Drawing, Floor Plan, Kitchen Layout and Column Details by Using the AutoCAD.
1.Aim:-To Draw the elevation and details of a wardrobe as shown in the Figure below. After sketching, you need to provide the dimensions and text with the use of layers. Use proper text styles and dimension methods to document it. Also, assume dimensions, wherever needed.
Note: All dimensions are in mm.

Procedure :
Steps:-
- open the AutoCAD application and type Qnwe and press enter
- select the default setting as Metric
- Set the units as Decimal- Milimeter
- set the limits also
- Take the line command
- specify the first point at 0,0
- specify the next point as @2800<0
- specify next point as @2600<0
- specify next point as @2800<180
- close the command

- Choose offset command
- Offset the Top line of box at 12 mm distance in downward direction
- offset the line at 488mm downward
- offset the bottom horizontal line at 100mm distance and click on top side of line
- Take offset the right side vertical line at distance of 365mm
- offset the 4 times at 605.75 mm to the left side of vertical line at right side
- close
- take line command again
- Draw the diagonal lines as shown in drawing.

- Go to the Annotation tab
- give the proper text and the Dimenssion
- complete figure is shown below pic.

- Take line command
- specify first point randomly
- specify the next point as @2800<0
- specify next point as @630<90
- specify next point as @2800<180
- specify next point as Close
- Take offset command
- Offset all the lines excepting Right side line inside at an distance of 12mm
- Offset Right side line at 365mm and at 1200mm
- Offset the 12mm thickness wherever shown in the drawing


- CARCASE ELEVATION
- Choose copy command
- Select outer box of front elevation
- Select base point as the bottom right corner
- Take appropriate distance
- Enter in the parallel direction beside that
- Offset the top line at 12mm and then 488mm
- Press enter
- Take offset of bottom horizontal line at 100mm and press enter in the upward

- Offset again at 700mm
- Offset at 20mm
- Again offset at 300mm ,20mm,300mm,20mm,300mm,20mm, and press enter
- Offset right vertical line at 365mm in left side
- Take offset bottom H-line at 900mm and 1180mm
- Trim all the unwanted lines
- Draw the boxes suitably for the reference for the wardrobe units like hanger etc.


- SIDE ELEVATION
- TAKE LINE TOOL
- Draw the box of 630mm x 2600mm
- Offset the bottom H-line at 900mm and again offset at 1180mm to the offseted line
- Offset the top H-line at 12mm
- Draw the diagonals lines by using of line command
- Give the text appropriate

- SECTION 1
- TAKE LINE TOOL
- Draw the box of 630mm x 2600mm
- Offset the bottom H-line at 900mm and again offset at 1180mm to the offseted line
- Offset the top H-line at 12mm
- Again offset at 300mm 3 times

- SECTION 2
- Copy the box of 365mm x 2600mm from the carcase elevation
- Select base point as bottom right corner
- Press enter beside the section 1 at an suitable distance.
- Give the text.

- click the layer properties.
- Give the layers properties by giving the names and the colours. to the lines and diagonal lines

Result with the Layer and Text:-

2.Aim:-
Draw the floor plan as shown in the Figure. Use the proper drafting tools to sketch the plan. Do not hatch or draw the furniture. You need to draw the floor plan with the following:
Note: You can also import the Floor_Plan.pdf into your current drawing and start working on the project. You need to scale the imported pdf file using reference option. All dimensions are in mm.
- Walls (Exterior and Interior)
Wall Thickness: Exterior Wall- 230mm, Interior Wall: 150 mm (Wherever Required)
- Doors and Windows: Assume the size of the doors and window.
2.1 Stairs: Tread-300mm, Riser-150mm
- Insert Text wherever required
- Insert the dimensions using proper dimension techniques

Stepwise Procedure:-
Exterior wall=230mm and interior wall= 150mm
- Open the AutoCAD application in device
- type Qnew and open the new drawing sheet
- set the units as Decimal-milimeters
- Take Xline command select horizontal and place it at your convenient position
- again take Xline command select vertical and place the line
- Trim the negative coordinate line using trim command
- Living room:-
- take offset at 230mm to the vertical line
- take offset at 230 mm to the horizontal line
- take the offset at 5310mm to vertical line
- offeset at 9710mm to the horizontal line
- Fayer room and Patio room:-
- Take offset at 2000mm to oter line of living room
- offset at 230mm and 2150mm and again at 150mm
- take offset at 3220mm to the horizontal line of bottom inner side
- offset at 230mm for top horizontal line
- offset the line at 2100mm to the line that are ofsseted at 3220mm
- again offset the line at 150mm
- Lumber room and Lift:-
- Draw the offset at 1600 mm in upward side of exterior line of fayer and patio room
- again offset at 230mm for the wall
- offset at 230mm to the outer line at right side
- again offset at 1570mm click on left side
- offset at 150 mm in left side
- Offset at 230mm to the outer vertical line of livinf room , 1570 mm at right side
- Trim the lines that are unnecessry for the drawing
- Family room , powder room ,Bedroom:-
- Offset the outer line at 150mm ,at 1650mm at 150mm and click on upward side
- again offset at 4350mm and 230mm inupward side
- offset to the vertical inner side line of living room at 3880mm ,230mm,1750mm,3830mm,230mm,1900mm,150mm
- offset the inside topmost line of wall at 1700,150mm,2100mm,150mm 4500mm,230mm,2150mm,150mm,3200mm,230mm
- press ESC.
- Take Trim command and trim all the unwanted lines

- Staircase:-
- Riser=150mm and Tread=300mm
- Take line command and draw the line by joining enpoints of the outer left corners of kitcen and fayer room
- take Offset command
- specify the distance as 300mm
- offset in right side at 11 times
- press ESc.
- give line tool
- draw the line by joining midponts of both outer lines
- trim all unwanted lines
- take offset at 150mm click at top and bottom side of midline and enter
- trimm unwanted lines
- take Rec command and draw inside as appropriate size
- take line command
- draw the diagonals to the rectagle.
- For the fayer room and the AP space draw the diagonals using the line command.

Door and window ventilators openings:-
- D1 = 1100 x 2000 mm
- D2 = 800 x 2100mm
- D3 = 900 x 2100 mm
- D4 = 700 x 2100mm
- D5 = 750 x 21mm
- SD = 2250 x 2100mm
- W1 =2700 X 1500 MM
- W2 =2500 X 1500 MM
- W3 =800 X 1500 MM
- W5 =1100 X 1500 MM
- W9 =750 X 1500 MM
- W10 =2200 X 1500 MM
- V1 =700 X 500 MM
- V2 =800 X 500 MM

Canopy :-
- take the circle commad
- Specify the center point in the upward side of the Bedroom at the convenient position
- take the radius as 550mm
- press enter
- again take the circle command
- specify the center point as the same drawn circle
- specify the radius as 2500mm press enter

Give the text as specified in the ques. drawing.
click on the layer properties
give the layer properties with the names and colour.

3.AIM:-
Create the Kitchen Layout as shown in the Figure below. Also, use proper dimension techniques to dimension the kitchen layout. Also, insert text wherever required. All dimensions are in mm.

Procedure:
Steps:-
- Set the unit as Decimal-precision 0.0 and milimeter.
- BELOW COUNTER PLAN
- Take the line tool from the draw tool bar
- Specify first point as randomly
- Specify the next point as @4300<0
- Specify next point as @3200<90
- Specify next point as @4300<180
- Close
- Take the offset for the outer wall at 230
- TRIM all aunecessary lines
- Take offset the inside the room at 35 units
- Take offset at 900mm , 450mm, 900mm, 450mm, 450mm, 560mm .

- Take offset to the bottom H-line of room inside at 600mm
- Again offset at 900mm
- Take offset the vertical inside line at 700mm, and 600mm
- Trim all unwanted lines
- Take the offset the vertical inside line at the 35mm and press enter left side
- Offset again at 945mm, 300mm, 900mm, 300mm, 450mm, 600mm, 1000mm
- Take offset top inside line at 600mm click inside at bottom
- Trim all the unwanted lines
- Again offset at suitable distance of counter to decorate.

- Give H command select ANSI32 and select the pick point by taking the 200 distance
- Give the opening of the door as 1200mm and Window opening 800mm using Offset and line command
- Trim all unwanted lines.
RESULT:-
- ABOVE COUNTER PLAN
- Take the copy command
- Select the previous kitchen room excluding the inside elements
- Select base point as bottom right corners , take the appropriate distance in parallel direction and click
- Take offset at 600mm and 150mm to the inside line of room
- To create the boxes Take offset at 35mm, 965mm, 600mm, 2595mm to the left inside vertical line of kitchen room
- Take the offset at 350mm 600mm respectively to the bottom inside H-line of room
- Again offset the vertical line at 450mm, 900mm, 900mm, 900mm, 1010mm press enter
- Trim all the unwanted lines.
- Take H command
- Select the ANSI32 and pick the internal point by taking the 200 distance
- Give the text and dimension by using the text and dimlinear command.
RESULT:-

4.Aim:-
Sketch the column details as shown in Figure. Insert dimensions and text in the figure. Refer to the bar sizes from the schedule.
8mm ---- 0.31 Inches
25mm--- 1 inches
16mm—0.62 inches

Stepwise procedure:-
- Type Qnew press enter
- set the unit as mm
- Take the line command
- specify the first point as 0,0
- specfy next point @ 1000<0
- specify next point @ 1000<90
- specify next point @1000<180
- close.
- take offset the left vertical line at 250mm click on right side
- take offset at 250mm to the horzontal line 3 times in upward side of box
- press ESC.
- Set the units as architectural and take inches
- take line command
- specify the first point in the drawn box at convenient place
- specify the next point as the @24''<0
- specify the next point as @24''<90
- specify the next point as @24''<180
- close
- offset all the boundary lines at 1.57'' click outer side
- offset the inner vertical line at 6'' on right side 3 times
- offset the inner horizontal line at 6'' on right side 3 times
- press ESC.
- take circle command for the reinforcement bars for the different sizes of

25mm--- 1 inches
16mm—0.62 inches
- draw the cicles by giving the sizes in the proper places.

- Take single line text
- justify at left
- specify the height as 10''
- write the text as specified in the given diagram.

- 5. Aim:-Draw the Raft Layout as shown in the Figure. Assume the column size as per your knowledge. You can take the sizes as: 24”x24”, 9” x 24”, 9” x 18”, and 9’ x 24”. You can import the raft_foundation.pdf to ensure the missing dimensions.

Stepwise Procedure:-
- open drawing sheet
- set unit as architectural
- select xLine command vertical and horizontal
- specify randomly
- select the line type as:

- take offset command
- offset the vertcal lines at distances of 1' for the first line to start then 5'9'',2',7',4',4'6'',5'7.5' and 4.5'' respectively
- offset the horizontal line at distances of 1' for first H-line to start then 5'7.5'', 3'7.5'', 4'9'', 5'10.5'', 5'7.5'', 3'9'', 5'9'', 13'10.5'', 10'4.5''

- To draw the column and the footing
- draw using line and offset command by giving following sizes:
- A1 = 24'' x 24''
- D1 = 24'' x 9''
- F1 = 18'' x 9''
- G2 = 9'' x 24''
- D3 = 24'' X 9''
- C4 = 18'' X 9''
- A5 = 24'' X 24''
- D5 =24'' X 9''
