To Bench-Marking with the present available cars in the market for the following case and to suggest Mr.Pughazhyendhii the best option to buy a car in his budget and conditions.

WHAT IS BENCH MARKING?

Bench-Marking is the process of comparison of similar product on same dimension of performance. Automotive Bench-Marking is the process of analyzing the choice of similar products based on selection factor and deducing it to final conclusion.

BUDGET AND CONDITIONS

1. The budget is 8-10 lakhs ( also fond of big cars).
2. The car should occupy 5 members(his wife,mother,father and a 5 year boy). Therefore the vehicle should be spacious with enough leg room.
3. Car should be comfortable fo the daily usage in Bangalore. And for a monthly trip to his native (Madhurai).
4. Based on these factors and his interest the suggestion would be a choice of SUV model vehicle or COMPACT SUV model vehicle.
5. In a crowded city like Bangaluru the best option is an Automatic Gear transmission but due the budget issue and fuel efficiency Manual Transmission is preferred.

The kia sonet is a subcompact crossover suv manufactured by kia since 2020. Developed mainly for indian market,Sonet is positioned below the seltos and is closely related to the similarly sized sibling HYUNDAI VENUE.

• Drive quality is good. It doesn't feel like going in 120 kmph on highway. Because of its stiffer susspension.

The Hyundai Venue is a subcompact crossover suv manufactured by South Koran manufacturer Hyundai.

• The overall design ,engine ,comfort ,services are very good but it dissapoint with its built quality like it's grab handle ,dashboard and rear parcel tray.

• TATA NEXON

The TATA NEXON is a subcompact cross over SUV produced by the Indian automaker Tata Motors since 2017. It is the first crossover from the brand, and occupies the sub-4 metre crossover SUV segment in India.

CONCLUSION

All the above mentioned cars are 5 seaters and comes under 10lakh so these cars are really suitable for Mr.D.S. Pughazhyendhii. Since he is fond of big cars, these cars comes under the category of Compact SUV. All the 4 cars have similar bootspace, headspace and footspace with a slight difference.

From the comparison study we can conclude that both KIA SONET and TATA NEXON is much better than HYUNDAI VENUE and MARUTHI SUZUKI BREZZA. Because both KIA and TATA have very good built quality as compared to other two. And they give more important to safety fatures also.

So from the selected four cars we can come to 2 cars(KIA SONET & TATA NEXON).

In todays market both KIA SONET and TATA NEXON have great demand and sale (overall rating 4.5/5).But the bult quality of TATA NEXON is much better and it have an NCAP rating of 5star(GLOBAL NCAP) and NCAP rating of KIA SONET is 0.And the safety feature of TATA NEXON is better than KIA SONET. Both provide very good mileage.

Since Mr.Pughazhyendhi goes to his native palce Madhurai, every month which is 500km away from Bangaluru along with his family (5 members), safety and built quality along with mileage and better performance while riding is necassary.

Therefore my suggestion after the comparison of 4 cars (compact suv) is TATA NEXON. This car meets all the demand of Mr.Pughazhyendhi, its a five seater, with good legspace and boot space which provide comfort during the long drive.It has a petrol engine and provide better mileage, so he can use this for daily purpose (office purpose). Better safety feature and built quailty with good ground clearance.After all these factors, this car comes under his budget (8-10 lakh).
