Wiring harness routing & packaging Rules Week 3 Challenge

Aim: To Define given parts as Electrical support using Electrical Part design Workbench.

Objective: To convert given mechanical part into electrical properties.

Procedure:

P-Clamp:

For P clamp i have been given with the mechanical part. in part workbench i creates point on both the side of p clamp using circle/sphere option after that i have created planes on those points using parallel through point and one more plane on the middle of both point.

After that switch to electrical part wokbench and defined the part as support using command support part two times because there are two entry point and two exits point for P clamp.

Backshell:

For Backshell i have been given with 3D backshell on that backshell i have created points on both the ends of backshell and axis system in parts workbench axis system is such a way that y-axis must be outside and coincidence to the backshell for further connection.

After that i switched workbench to electrical part wokbench and defined the part as Backshell and after that i defined Backshell connection point and bundle connection point.

Corrugated Tubes:

For corrugated tubes i switch directly to the electrical part workbench and use command define protection part for that part and given inner diameter and thickness to the corrugated tubes and saved the part and created catalog for the tubes and added all the corrugated tubes into slit cot family of catalog using store device command.
