Aim :
To define the Tasks it as Electrical support using Electrical Part design Workbench.
Objectives :
1.P Clamp
2.Back Shell
3.Corrugated Tubes
Procedure :
1. P Clamp :
It lock cables and hoses in place and help ensure that machinery, vehicles and equipment keep running. They bracket wires, cables or hoses together mechanically and are fastened securely to an anchor point – usually with a screw or a bolt. In Below figure We are discussing the P Clamp CAT part.
1.After merging the P clamp into Catia go to Mechanical part design workbench.
2.Finding the Geometrical parameter, Like point on Both sides of P clamp.
3.Then take A Plane On Both sides As Well as base side Also by Parellel through the points & Offsetting Respectively.
4.Then go to the electrical part design & defining the bundle connection point As well as connector connection point with respect to their faces & Respresentations if it is necessary or else define the Component as Electrical.
2.Back Shell :
used to guide the ends of bundle segments, and to protect the crimping area. You can add electrical behavior to an instance or a reference. In Below figure We are discussing the back shell CAT part.
1.After merging the back Shell intob the Catia go to Mechanical part design workbench.
2.Finding the Geometrical parameter, Like point on Both sides of Back Shell.
3.Then take A Point On Both sides & Take on Connector connecting side.
4.Then go to the electrical part design & defining the bundle connection point As well as connector connection point with respect to their faces & Respresentations.
3.Corrugated Tubes :
Corrugated conduits and protective hoses with various properties, from heat resistance through abrasion protection and impact strength to noise reduction, protect valuable cables against all unfavorable external influences.
In Below figures We are discussing the Corrugated Tubes Catia parts.
