Wiring harness design in CATIA V5 - 3D modeling Week 4 Challenge
AIM:
The aim of this project is to create electrical routing for the given electrical layout by using the connectors and to apply protective coverings with extrimity 30mm from the each and every connectors.
the following connectors has used the electrical Layout:
- DT06-4S
- DT06-6S
- DT06-2S
- DT06-08SA
Electrical Layout:
Procedure for Creating electrical harness:
1. Download the required connectors and give electrical properties like define connector, bundle connection point, connector connector connection point and connector cavity point.

- DT06-6S
- DT06-2S
- DT06-08SA
2. Open Assembly design work bench and import all the required connectors. Now move the connectors as per the given layout.
3. Create a Geometrical bundle defnition in Electrical Harness Assembly in the context assembly and create proper bundle segments.
4. Apply Protective coverings by providing 30mm extrimity from each and every connector.

for the given electrical layout, the connectors has placed in their respective position and a proper electrical routing is created.
