Wiring harness design in CATIA V5 - 3D modeling Week 4 Challenge

Aim: To Route the harness layout in Electrical workbench and Add protective covering on all branches.

Procedure:

For this Routing i have been given with different connectors DT06-4S, DT06-6S, DT06-2S, DT06-08SA which are not electrically defined. so to define connector electrically i created point and axis system for each connectors in part design workbench. after that i swiched to Electrical part design workbench to define it as electrical connector and also defined connector connection point and bundle connection point for each connector.

After defining connectors electrically i created assembly and in that assembly inserted all the connectors and then defined assembly as electrical assembly using geometrial bundle command in electrical harness assembly workbench.

After Defining assembly electrically i switch to multi branchable and in multi branchable using branch defination command firstly i created wiring harness between DT06-6S and DT06-08SA connector. after that i created branch points on the harness at required distance and from that point creates harness routing to the other connectors.

After creating routing assembly i added protective covering on all the harness rounting by maintaining end extremety of 30mm.
