Wiring harness design in CATIA V5 - 3D modeling Week 2 Challlenge

AIM:

The objective of this challenge is to define electrical properties for the dowloaded component in the CATIA v5

Deutsch DT06 – 08SA:

i) Axis system creation for the bundle entry and anothe connector entry at both sides of the connector.The point and axis are named according to its connection ports.

ii)Then defining the part as electrical component.Defining the number of terminals in the connector we get in the tree the number of trees.

iii) Now create the bundle connection port and connector connection port by using the command in the electrical part design workbench.

If the component has attachment for mounting you shuold also define the cavity port both in the component and the clip Tyco 174357-2

Finally we created catalog documents for the connector and cavity,

Conclusion:

All the given parts are electrically defined and properties are mentioned successfully.
