Week 9 - Attachment Feature Creation (Ribs & Screw Boss) - Challenge 1

CREATION OF MAIN TOOLING AXIS :

POINT AND DIRECTION METHOD

STEP FOLLOWED :

1) Extract a surface which is almost straight and at almost middle of class-A surface, from the top view of that surface

most of the part of class-A surface should visible.

2) Create a pont on that surface

3) Create a line from above point in appropriate tooling direction

4) Above found Line will be desired main tooling axis ,Now we can change it's properties

DRAFT ANALYSIS :

DRAFT ANALYSIS FOR CLASS_A SURFACE

STEP FOLLOWED :

1) Create main tooling axis

2) Change view mode : material mode

3) Pic the draft analysis tool , select the surface (CLASS_A ) ,drag the compass, activate it and recheck its position

4) Set the value of angle to check the draft

5) Now we can perform the draft analysis in various mode such as quick analysis mode , full analysis mode

and analysis under running point.
