Week 8 - Challenge 4 - Bumper

AIM : Create the Bumper Plastic component through the given Class-A surface.

METHODOLOGY : Surafce A is made by class A designer and then it is given to the Plastic modellor to proceed further with Class B and Class C surface.

SOLUTION :

Due to shrinking, a zero draft may cause difficulty at time of ejection. For non-textured surfaces, it is advised to add a minimum of 0.5 to 1 degree of drafts and 3 to 5 degrees for textured surfaces.

CLASS B :

For making of class B surface for bumper part Class A is offseted at 3mm and the gaps were filled by using Swept, Multi-sections and Blend operation.

CLASS C :

Class A-Surface and Class B-Surface are connected by C-Surface. The command Sweep is used to construct it. The class A surface's boundary is swept at a 90 degree angle.
