For EV_defaults_in file, if cargo mass is 500 kg with all other default conditions, can the vehicle travel for 45 km with FTP drive cycle? Conclude your observations.

i) Test case 1 cargo weight of136 KG (DEFAULT)

Result :

This is default cargo mass of 136 kg for 5 FTP cycles it is going for 48.2 KM

ii) Test case 2 cargo weight of 500 KG

Result:

This is cargo mass of 500 kg for 5 FTP cycles it is going for 41.4 KM

CASE 1: FOR cargo mass 136 KG over all efficiency - 0.347

CASE 2: FOR cargo mass 500 KG over all efficiency - 0.367

2) In the above case, try changing the battery capacity and repeat the simulation.

RESULT: @ cargo mass 136 KG

In this i changed the 25 module battery pack to 50 module battery pack with 10 FTP cycles from this result the vehicle is traveling for 89.8 KM.

3)Perform gradeability test with PRIUS_Jpn_defaults_in file

Compare your results in table and conclude.

6 % grade at 30mph: PASS

8% grade at 30mph: FAIL

6% grade at 55mph : PASS

7% grade at 55mph: FAIL
