Week-3 Challenge: ADVISOR Tool
AIM:
Using advisor (Advanced Vehicle Simulator) tool and simulate the following

CASE1:
For EV_Defaults_in file Cargo Weight is changed to 500kg & using FTP drive cycle can the vehicle attain 45km.

Using the Other default conditions and using 500kg cargo mass & FTP cycle the vehicle had exceeded the battery backup by attaining 41.4 km.
Conclusion:
Thus by changing the cargo weight to 500kg and using ftp cycle the vehicle could not attain the 45km range using the default battery capacity.
CASE2:
Using the above conditions increase the battery capacity & Repeat the simulation.

By changing the battery capacity to 28 modules and run in same drive cycle with same number of drive cycles it exceeds the battery power to attain 46.3 km.

By changing the battery capacity by increasing the module to 40 using same drive cycles & same number of cycles the vehicle attains 53.3 km range.
Conclusion:
Thus the vehicle Range is increased by increasing the battery capacity and vehicle range decreases by decreasing battery capacity.
CASE3:
Perform gradeablity test with PRIUS_JPN_Defaults_in file.
Fully Electric

At fully electric condition & 55mph speed the gradeablity of the vehicle is 8.9%.

At fully electric condition & 20mph speed the gradeablity of the vehicle is 19.8%.
IC Engine condition:

At IC Engine condition & speed of 20 mph the gradeablity of the vehicle is NIL.

At IC Engine condition & speed of 55mph the gradeablity of the vehicle is 1.7%.
Hybrid condition:

At hybrid condition & speed of 55mph speed the gradeablity of the vehicle is 8.9%.

At hybrid condition & speed of 20mph speed the gradeablity of the vehicle is 19.8%.
Table:
| SL.NO | SPEED | Fully Electric | Ic Engine | Hybrid |
| 1 | 20 mph | 19.8% | NIL | 19.8% |
| 2 | 55 mph | 8.9% | 1.7% | 8.9% |
Result:
Thus the Simulations are been simulated and recorded using Advisor (Advanced Vehicle Simulator) tool.
