Aim:
To stimulate doorbell and heater using Matlab
Objective:
The observe the doorbell for every 2 sec closed and released
To use a thermistor and to turn on and off the heater with the given temperature
Requirements:
Matlab,simulink,simscape
Process of working the doorbell:
Procedure:
We have used solenoid, battery, ideal translational sensor and switch
Solenoid: solenoid is taken from the Simulink library, the battery is taken which act as a physical signal
The solenoid r and c port is connected to the ports of the sensor we use display blocks
The output sensor is the physical signal we have to connect using ps simulator
We have to provide electrical reference to solenoid and mechanical reference to sensor
As the given we have to give the inputs according to the question.
inputs:
outputs:
Heater:
Using a thermistor to sense the heater to on and off the fan for the given tempetarure
0 to 10 sec –20 degree
10-30sec-27 degree
30 to 50sec-25 degree
The requirements are thermistor,controlled temperature source,voltage,resistance,battery,signal builder,electrical reference,thermal reference,switch
Thermistor:thermistor is a resistor whose electrical reference changes according to temperature changeSingal builder is taken and given the temperature values in kelvin and time is given as 10secControlled temperature source in which the temperature values are varied in this and gives the signal thermistor is connected to battery, resistor and voltage
Volatge sensor and resistance are given with thresold value while on and off
procedure:
inputs:
outputs:
conclusion:
the physical movement in the door bell has been observed
temperature is sensed by the thermistor in the heater model
