G+1 Plan drawing to used Vaastu Shastra :
G+1 RESIDENTIAL PLAN
- All columns are 230mm x 300mm
- All beams are 230mm x 300mm
- Slab thickness is 125mm
- The height of the wall 4.5m
DEAD LOAD :
i) Dead Load of Column:
Column of size 0.23m*0.30m
Column height=9m
Total volume of concrete = 0.23*0.30*9=0.621m^3
Unit weight of concrete = 25KN/m^3
Deat load of column = 25*0.621=15.52KN
Here provide total number of column = 12
Total dead load of column = 12*15.52=186.24KN
ii Dead load of Beam:
Beam of size o.23*0.30m
Beam lenght =5m
Total volume of beam = 0.23*0.30*5=0.552m^3
Unit weight of concrete= 25KN/m^3
Here we provide total number of column =12
Dead load of Beam = 25*0.552=13.8KN/M
Total dead load of beam =13.8*12=165 KN/M
iii) Slab 1 and 2 Load:
Thickness of slab = 125mm
Unit weight of concrete = 25KN/m^3
Self weight of slab= Thickness of slab*Unit weight of concrete
= 0.125*25=3.125 KN/m
Total calculatio of slab 1 and salb 2= 3.125*2=6.25 KN/M
iv) Calcualation of the wall load
Height of wall = 4.5m
Thikness of the wall = 230mm
Unit weight of Brick wall = 20KN/m^3
Deat load of wall = 20*4.5*0.23 =20.7KN/m
LIVE LOAD:
The loading design detail to taken fron IS 874: PART-2
Here we taken live load of residential building for code using IS875 part-2
we consider Uniformly Distributed Load
i) All rooms and kitchen = 2.0 KN/m^2
ii) Toilet and bath rooms =2.0KN/m^2
iii) Staircase, and porticos = 3.0KN/m^2
WIND LOAD:
Design wind pressure is calculated using the expression
Pz=0.6 Vz^2
where, Pz= wind pressure @ height z, in N/m^2
Vz= Design wind speed @ height z, in m/s
Vz is calculated using the formula
Vz=Vb*k1*k2*k3*k4
where, Vb= Basic wind speed
k1= Probability factor (Risk Co-efficient)
k2= Terrain roughness and height factor
k3= Topography factor
k4= Impo rtance factor
Vb=Basic wind speed we considereing general building for chennai thats is for 50 years return period is 50m/s then we taked value of 1.0
k1 factor value we taked from Table-1
K1 = Probability factor (risk co-efficient) = 0.1
k2 = Terrain riughness and heught factor,
we take category 1 exposed terrain with few or no obstruction and in which the average is less than 1.5 m
we taken value of building 10m = 1.05
k3 = the value of k3 is confined in the rang of 1.0 to 1.36= 1.0
k4= 1.00
Vz=Vb*k1*k2*k3*k4
Vz= 50*0.1*1.05*1.0*1.0=7.5m/s
Design wind load is = Pz=0.6 Vz^2
Pz=0.6*7.5^2= 9 N/m^2
