Report On Roof Design:
Created a feature group to simplify the given Roof Body design. An ‘Extracted copy’ has been created to make a worksheet for developing Roof.
By activating ‘Untrim’ command, a plane sheet was generated without having any abbreviation.
As per given data, using Law extension, Studio surface, Edge blend, Offset curves, intersecting curves and Offset surface Front roof rail area has been created with the mentioned tolerance and limits.
After the Front roof design execution, Rear roof rail planned for design. With in the constraints given in the data, a possible outcome was captured by using NX12. The same calculation and tools were helped to creating a better outcome.
As per the calculation, 2 Number of Bow roof rail can be implemented on given roof sheet. By using Offset surface, offset curve in face, Law extension and trim sheet Bow roof rail area furnished.
By not considering the Sun Roof on the roof top, one standard design of central roof rail was planned. And created as per given data.
Thickening has been done to achieve the clearance and standards. By using Mirror geometry roof design were completed.
