Aim: To prepare a schedule for walls, doors, windows materials, etc. For the project which was created last week

Procedure :

Step 1: Open the architecture file created last week

Step 2: Go to the view tab and select schedules

Step 3: Select schedule quantities from the option displayed

Step 4: A dialog box will appear, select all required elements

Step 5: Select components like doors from the dialog box and click ok and select the items like height width etc to be displayed and ok

Step 6: Do the same for all

Window Schedule

Wall schedule

RESULT: All schedules prepared

Aim: To calculate the area and volume of each room in the model with appropriate room tags applied to each room and to prepare a schedule report for the area and volume of each room

Procedure :

Step 1: Open the architecture file created last week

Step 2: Go to the view tab and select schedules

Step 3: Select schedule quantities from the option displayed

Step 4: A dialog box will appear, select room from that and click ok

Step 5: Select area and volume name count

RESULT: A schedule of the area and volume of each room is successfully prepared and the area and volume of each room are calculated by the room tag

Q4)

Aim: To prepare the total cost of material and individual materials take-off schedule

Procedure :

Step 1: Open the architecture file created last week

Step 2: Go to the view tab and select schedules

Step 3: Select material take off from the option displayed

Step 4: A dialog box will appear, select material eg, wall and click ok

Step 5: Select required elements to prepare a schedule and click ok

Step 6: Select calculate from the tab

Step 7: A dialog box will appear, fill required details and click ok

Step 8: Total cost will be calculated

Step 10: Do the same for all

RESULT: Successfully calculated the total cost of materials
