OBJECTIVE:
To morph the given side body component to the desired shape as given in the image given below and to write macro for the same.
PROCEDURE:
1. Go to Import Solver Deck>>Import Model>>Select file>>Import
2. Go to components view tab>>Select component "1">>Duplicate>>Rename to "Reference"
3. Go to Tools>>Organize>>elements>>duplicate>>current comp>>move. This step is done to create a reference geometry so that parent geometry can be edited and checked accordingly.
4. Select suitable colours for the components "1" and "Reference"
5. Switch off the wireframe and surfaces for "Reference" component.
6. Go to Tool>>Hypermorph>>morph volumes>>create>>elems>>displayed>>create. This is shown in the figure below
7. Now go to Tool>>Hypermorph>>morph volumes>>split/combine>># of splits>>enter the number of splits to be made>>split. This is shown in the figure below
8. Go to Tool>>Hypermorph>>morph>>move handles>>adjust the handles to get the desired geometry. This is shown in the figure below
9. The final geometry obtained is shown in the figure below.
10. Now go to the respective folder and open "command.tcl" file to write the macro for the same.
11. After step 10, run the tcl file as shown in the figure below.
12. The final geometry is shown in the figures below.
RESULT AND CONCLUSION:
Therefore, the given side body component is morphed in accordance with the geometry given and macros is written for the same.
