Hood

• Hood is also known as bonet it is major component in vehicle .
• Hood cover engine compartment of car and also give good asthetic look to car.
• Hood also decrease impact getting when crash occurs and also divert the accidental force' in such way that it will not harm passenger inside the car.

Component of Hood:-

1. Hood outer panel
2. Hood inner panel
3. Hinge
4. Striker

1. Hood outer panel :-

Hood outer panel is the outer surface of hood Assembly . it give Aesthetic look to car and also improve Aerodynamics of car . The hood outer panel is design by design team and we get it as referenceto build inner panel of hood assembly

2. Hood inner panel :-

hood inner panel is component wich get attach to outer panel of hood. both the oter pannel and inner panel is attach with the help of mastic .we can not joint them with the help of welding it may spoil aesthetic look of car. inner panel is design in such way that while crash occure it should not damage passenger inside the car .it design in such way that the force comming from outside will distributed in manner that it will no harm drier and passenger.

3. Hinge :-

Hinge is mechanism which gibe motion to hood for opeing and clossing. hinge is set in such manner it will open the hood at certain angle. we gwt hinge from design team.

4. Striker :-

Striker is part which lock and unlock hood . it get hold by mechanism to lock the hood and get relese when we press button of hood opner. we get striker design from design team of skill-lync
