Fender Design Challenge
Objective:
To create mountings for the sill , bumper , baffle
(splash), and A pillar according to the engineering standard that you learned and according to the master section given in the challenges.
The master section is……

Mounts:
SILL
A PILLAR
BUMPER
DRIP
PROCEDURE TO CREATE THE MOUNTINGS:
First check the model and create the mounts layouts.
By using offset to parallel curve tools, offset that edge to 5mm.
Use curve on surface to create the curve on the surface of the class A and create the mounts according to the master section.
To create the mount region use the sweep option near the space created for the mountings
After the sweep sew those surfaces with the class A.
Now we need to create embosses and holes.
To create embosses , create a sketch with the required shape. Project the sketch on the class A Surfaces or to the mounting area.
Now emboss and trim the sheet for create the hole.
Once the surface is trimmed give the fillets near embosses and beads.
Use the extrude command followed by the edge fillet to convert these sharp edges into the curved edges.
After the Surface is created, go to the part workbench and define the part body.
Use the thick surface option to create the solid with a thickness of 1mm.
