FENDER

Fender is a curved portion beside the hood which houses the wheel. The purpose of a fender is pretty straightforward, Its purpose is to stop mud, rocks, and different road rubble from being thrown around by the tires. In different words, the fender may be a housing for the wheels that keeps road rubble contained. If there was nothing covering the wheels, all types of rubble would be kicked up by the rotating tires.

The fender not solely protects the automotive from sustaining injury from road rubble however it prevents this rubble from being thrown up at different vehicles on the road and also important for pedestrian safety. Highlighted section in figure 1 shows location of front fender.
