Fender Design

The given fender skin was analyzed and the required Bumper, Baffle, Sill, A-Pillar and Drip Mounts were created using the Siemens NX software. The drip mount was created using the dimensions given in the master section image and provided with 2 ribs of thickness 0.75mm for extra support. All the mounts were provided with embosses and holes of 6mm diameter for the facilitation of fasteners. The respective images are attached for reference. After creating all the mounts, fillets were provided in the required areas. Then the skin was thickened to create the final part.
