Challenge

Fender Design

In this Challenge I am going to create a Fender Design and different Mounts in the NX CAD.

At First lets know about the use case of Fender. The Fenders are used in the Vehicles to protect the Passengers or the thing surrounded around it because when the vehicle move the Dust, Stones, Muds, Sand, etc. particles which have a contact with the wheels move backward to the Passengers or the Vehicle behind it, from the Wheel the paticles moves in high speed cause Injuries or Damage the things in the back of it.

So the Fender is used to cover the Wheels for Protection and this also stop the Dust/ Water to enter into the Chassis part which cause Rusting. The Fenders are placed above certain distance from the wheel because when the wheel moves in the hole or speed brake the sudden movement of the wheel damage the fender in case of contact. So the Fender is placed with certain distance according to the Vehicle requirements.

Then for fixing the Fender in Vehicle it have different type of Mounting. In this we are going to create some of the Mounts. They are Drip Mounting, A-Pillar Mounting, Sill Mounting, Bumper Mounting, Baffle Mounting.

In NX CAD the commonly used commands to create the Mounts are Point, Datum, Sketch, Extrude, Hole,Swept, Edge Blend, Splines, Trim sheet, Trim and Extend, Sew, Thicken and Emboss.
