Fender Design

Aim :

To create the Fender According To The Given Master Section.

Objectives :

1. To create the Drip Area.

2. For the Sill, Bumper, Baffle(Splash), and A-Pillar mount create your own design according to the Engineering standard that you learned.

3. Prepare a report with all the relevant images included for the mounting points created.

Procedure :

Fender :

In Simple Manner,

a metal or plastic enclosure over the wheels of an automobile or other vehicle to protect against splashing mud, etc.

So Lets Load The Skin Data Of Fender or Class A Surface Of Fender,

Skin Data Of Fender :

Load The Skin Data of Fender into Nx As shown in figure given below.

The Working On the Drip Area We Need To Offcet in Face As Shown in figure given below.

Then Creating the curve on surface as shown in figure given below.

Trim The Selected Curves As shown in figure given below.

To Create The Flanges By Using Law Extension as shown in figure given below.

To create The Emboss on flange as shown in figure given below.

To trim the Sketched Holes As Shown in figure given below.

It was obtaining on final stage I Think I need to give the dart command Before blend now it was not working it was my mistake But I Know How To Do it, Please Accept that mistake As Shown in figure given below.

Drip Surface As Shown in figure given below.

Remaining Flanges As shown in figure given below.

Add Thickness To The Surface Soo Thickened Body As Shown in Figure given below.

Soo Sucessfully Designed The Fender By Considering The Master Section & Design Features by Industry OEM's.
