Benchmarking is the process of comparison of different products whether they are from same rand or different brand In benchmarking we compare each product with different aspects to get knowledge of pros and cons, what make them different from each other, etc. Benchmarking also involves comparing a particular part of the product. Benchmarking is done to improve the product to satisfy the customer needs.
The above figure show the comparison of five different vehicles on the basis of performance, driveability, ADAS, sound/NVH, real driving emission, pollutant emission, energy management, friction, handling, ride comfort.
