In the Engine and Transmission section Winner is TATA Nexon as u can see from the specification of the Car but if u see Mahindra XUV 300 giving competition in this segment rpm of XUV 300 is more than Nexon.

In The Dimension segment, Mahindra XUV 300 is the winner and as per customer requirements our customer Mr. Pughazhyendhii is fond of big cars.

the capacity of both cars is almost the same but Nexon has more Boot space than XUV 300 which is preferable for Mr. Pughazhyendhii because they always go to their native place once a month so it's good for the big boot space which is offered by Nexon.

Now this is the most important factor for every family is their safety in this segment both having a Global NCAP 5 Star rating

TATA Nexon Provides more advanced safety features as u can see in the above chart ESP, TCS, BA, ABS

So from the above comparison parameters of car models:

PERFORMANCE

• Mahindra XUV 300 and TATA NEXON are the front runners but KIA SONET AND VENUE ALSO offer much stable performance both on the city traffic and highway with multi-drive modes.

• Tata Nexon has a Linear Power Delivery system and has better Engine power and torque only falling behind Mahindra XUV.

• The Reported ARAI Mileage shows Venue and Nexon are far better and Mahindra falls behind because of its power to weight ratio.

INTERIOR

• TATA Nexon is the best among the group because of its spacious Cabin Interior with more Legroom for the rear passengers and suits best for the family drive by giving the best seating for the fifth passenger.

• The Glove Box and Rear HVAC Vent are the standout features of TATA NEXON and also have improved sunvision and Instrument Panel Clusters with added utility holders along with the side doors.

• Nexon's Infotainment touch screen has sub-par performance compared to Ford Ecosport and Hyundai Venue.

• Mahindra XUV has a better Plastic Interior trim quality and Dual-tone variant of Hyundai Venue and material looks better whereas the Quality of XM variant Nexon is not superior compared to other models

• The Bluelink connectivity App with a smartphone from Hyundai Venue gives additional scoring for Venue among others

EXTERIOR

• TATA Nexon is a standout in this category and offers the maximum backspace of 350 liters falling just behind EcoSport but Nexon provides way better ground clearance of 209mm which will be well suited for the Indian Roads

• The Facelift, Headlight, and Tail Light are stylish in NEXON and give a land rover discovery-like front with a beefy and bulky front end.

• The Lagged out ABC Pillars of TATA NEXON offers better headroom among the other models.

Global NCAP releases an update to its #SaferCarsForIndia campaign with two new crash test results today. Following recent four-star safety announcements, the Tata Nexon becomes the first made in India, sold in India car to achieve Global NCAP’s coveted five-star crash test rating. The Mahindra Marazzo also does well, achieving a four-star result.

The Tata Nexon scored five stars for Adult Occupant Protection and three stars for Child Occupant Protection. Following the Nexon’s four-star result earlier this year Tata has improved a number of safety features including making a Seat Belt Reminder (SBR) for driver and passenger a standard for all variants of the model. In addition, the Nexon was required to pass a side impact test meeting UN95 side impact protection requirements.

The Mahindra Marazzo with standard double airbags, ABS, SBR for the driver, and ISOFIX anchorages, reached four stars in Adult Occupant Protection and two stars for Child Occupant Protection (**).

The model offers good protection for both the adult head and neck, marginal protection for the driver's chest, and adequate protection for the passenger's chest. The pedals showed some risk for the lower legs due to their displacement. The 18-month-old child dummy received good protection while the 3-year-old child passenger showed high readings in chest and head exposure.
