Objective:

The main objective of this report is to benchmark the various cars which are currently available in the market and select the best suitable one according to the respective case details.

Case Details:

Mr.D.S.Pughazhyendhii is a married man who lives in banglore which is a highly crowded city.His family comprises of 5 members including his wife, 5 year boy, father and his mother. He once in a month visists his native place Madurai which is almost 500 kms away from Banglore.Also he will be using his car to commute his office. His budget falls between 8 lakhto 10 lakh on road. Please suggest him with options so that he will buy a good car for his family.

Note: Pughazhyendhii is fond of Big cars.

I will recommend to pughazhyendhii to buy a Tata Nexon XE.

Considerations to be taken for recommending Tata Nexon XE :

• Among those 6 cars,each car with different body types-Hatchback,Sedan,Sports Utility vehicle(SUV).Hatchback is a small body type designed to seat 5 people inside.But practically being comfort,it is advisable to seat only 4 people at a time, also the boot space will be less compare to other types.So the Hatchbacktype cars can be eliminated.As coming to sedan type,it is best suited for families(5 members) but it has having low ground clearance and it is not strong as compare to SUV.So the sedan type will be eliminated and SUV type is selected.SUV having a adequate leg room,more ground clearance,more boot space and more strength.Since Tata Nexon XE is a SUV vehicle, it is recommended.
• As coming to the safety, NCAP(New Car Assessment Program) rating is more in Tata Nexon XE.According to the safety parameters,the more rating of NCAP will more in safety.Recently, global NCAP releases a report that Tata Nexon will score 5 stars for adult protection and three stars for child protection.So Tata Nexon XE is recommended of having more NCAP rating as compare to others.

• Also the Tata Nexon having a turbocharged engine which increases the power of the engine by reusing the exhaust gases and thereby increases fuel efficiency.

• As coming to mileage, Tata Nexon XE runs with diesel and gives a mileage of 22.4kmpl.Diesel is comparitively lesser price than petrol and gives more mileage than petrol.Since the Tata Neon XE meeting this requirements as compare to other cars,it is recommended.
• Also the Tata Nexon XE comes with three drive modes(City,Eco,Sport) as compare to other cars and can toggle these drive modes depending upon the engine responses,various traffic conditions and moods.Sport mode is used for maximum punch while the Eco is for optimise the fuel efficiency and city mode is best for the regular commutes within the city.

Conclusion:

Finally I would like to suggest Mr.D.S.Pughazhyendhii to buy a Tata Nexon XE, because it will satisfies all of his requirements.As he was fond of big cars,the SUV type Tata Nexon XE is usually large,Cool look.Regarding the safety aspects for small child and parents, it awarded 5 star NCAP rating.So it can withstand from any minor or major accidents.Although while he was travelling to his office in crowded city of Bangalore or travelling to his native palce of Madurai which is 500 kms away from Bangalore for every month,the driving modes of City,Eco,Sport are very useful in order to drive based on different roads or traffic conditions.Also the turbocharged engine with diesel variant will gives a better fuel efficiency and mileage of 22.4 kmpl which makes Pughazhyendhii to be vey happy.
