benchmarking is the pocess of measuring the performance of a company's product services against those of another business considered to the best in company' '' best in class.'' the point of benchmarkink is to identify internal opportunites for the iprovement. by studying compnies with superrior performance ,breaking down what make such the superior performance possible and then comparring those processes to how youer bussines operates , you can implement changes that will yield significant improvement .
that might mean twaking a product features to more closely match a competitor's offering . or more closely match a competitor offering or changing new scope of servise you offer , or installing new coustomer relationship management(CRM) system to enable more personalize communications with customers.
