It is basically a comparison between what is already there in market and how do we implement Positive point on my own product. In this we must study to other company product. Benchmarking in the automobile industry involves a structure comparison between similar product, service on some dimension of performance.

Kinds can operate at several levels:

I.Between similar processes in the same factory or service branch.

II.Between different factories or service branches.

III.Between different competing organizations.

IV.Between different sector using the same process.

Case:

One of my friend want to buy new car he is married man he lives in Delhi which is very crowded city. And five member in his family he want to buy new car for visit Shimla once in month. His budge falls between 8 to 10 lakhs on road. Kindly suggest him.
