BENCHMARKING:

Benchmarking is a process where you measure your company’s success against other similar companies to discover if there is a gap in performance that can be closed by improving your performance. Studying other companies can highlight what it takes to enhance your company’s efficiency and become a bigger player in your industry.

Benchmarking provides necessary insights to help you understand how your organization compares with similar organizations, even if they are in a different business or have a different group of customers. Benchmarking can also help organizations identify areas, systems, or processes for improvements—either incremental improvements or dramatic improvements.

Mr. D.S. Pughazhyendhii is a married man who lives in Bangalore which is a highly crowded city. His Family comprises five members including his wife, a five-year-old boy, his father, and his mother. He visits his native place Madurai which is 500kms away from Bangalore once a month. Also, he will be using his car to commute to his office. His budget falls between 8 to 10 lakhs on road. Please suggest to him options so that he will buy a good car for his family.

Note: Pughazhyendhii is fond of big cars.

Among the four cars, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger are low in price compare to the price of Tata Nexon and Hyundai Venue.

From Comparing the engines of the cars listed, Tata Nexon has higher CC engine, Higher power, Higher torque. Mileage of the car is good in Renault Kiger (19) and Nissan Magnite (20). Driving Range was good in Hyundai Venue and Nissan Magnite. Nexon and Venue has higher Fuel capacity, which is a big advantage while travelling long which can occur in our requirement.

Tata Nexon has higher width, Ground Clearance. Higher Ground clearance is always an advantage for the car, as the width is high there will lot space between seats and passangers can travel comfortably. Also, the height of Nexon and Venue are higher which gives advantage for taller people. High in Bootspace can hold higher luggage.

When its coming to safety all the cars have overspeeding warning in their vehicle. All the cars have 1 beep over 80 Kmph, continuous beeps over 120Kmph. Tata Provide puncture repair kit in their vehicle which is really helpful while travelling long. Tata got 5 star NCAP rating while other cars failed to get it. Every vehicle commonly provided child seat anchor points and seat belt warning.

CONCLUSION:

When comparing the praise of the vehicle Renault kiger and Nissan Magnite are low in praise but those cars didnt fullfil the need of Pughazhyendhii. Also those cars are slightly giving higher mileages. All Cars provides comfort, child safety and have some common features in it.

But, Tata Nexon Provides all the requirement of Pughazhyendhii. It has better engine capacity, better power, better torque, higher ground clearance, high width which can be useful from him while travelling to his native place.

Better safety measures and comfort for his family can be provided from the Nexon. Higher fuel tank capacity is useful while travelling long. 3 Years warranty in car and higher warranty in kilometres are provided.

Although the price is little bit higher than the other cars but within his budget and obtained most of his requirement i will sugest Mr. D.S. Pughazhyendhii to buy TATA NEXON.
