Benchmarking is a tool to measuring of similar products by some aspects are cost, performance, reliability, quality, specification and features are available in the market.

In industries, similar products are compared each other to upgrade or develop their next generation product better than others.

It is used to comparing the products by requirements of customer and takes easy decision to choose the product.

Case

Mr.D.S.Pughazhyendhii and his family want a new big car in budget fall between 8L to 10L INR.

He using his car to commute to his office and visit native place Madurai in monthly once. He raids approximately 1700 kms per month. So, I suggest petrol variant engine is enough for his family. It gives a smooth raid with less vibrations and low maintenance.

In a car, manual gear shifting engine is more efficient and less fuel consumption then automatic gear shifting engine.

His family are five members including with two senior persons. So, they need more spacious leg room for long drive comfort and larger boot space. So, we go to sedan type car.

Nowadays the market moves to compact SUV and CUV. So, we have selective option in sedan type car.

EXTERIOR

Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Hyundai Aura exterior design are familar and old one. These two cars look bulky and built quality lesser than Honda Amaze and Tata Tigor.

Amaze and Tigor exterior design are very sleek and fresh look in the market. Tigor exterior is better than the Amaze.

Tigor gives a chorme triarrow front grilles, shark style antenna, bold bright tail light and chrome line door hand with best quality material in exterior are show in IMAGE-2.

Tigor have a stylish coupe design and luxurious sedan look. The tyre is sonic silver alloy wheel, body coloured bumper and 3 dimensional headlamp are show in IMAGE-3.

Dzire interior material are poor quality and looks like a budget car. Amaze and Aura is better than the Dzire, but Tigor interior is permium design give like Digital instrument cluster, Front and rear chrome door handles, cupholder and chrome lined airvents.

Instrumental display has a digital clock, trip meter, gear-shift display, average fuel efficiency and distance to empty

Tigor car have a rain sensing wiper, engine start and stop push button, autofold ORVM and steering mounted controls. The car has larger boot space 419l and 8 variable adjustable driver seat, this additional features give a more comfort to raider are shown in IMAGE-5.
