BENCHMARKING refers to technical term for Comparison in Automobile Industry which depicts a structured comparison between similar products, services or processes on some dimensions of performance.

There are basically two types of Benchmarking :-

Benchmarking 1 :-

  • It is a fundamental level of study of which involves comparison between different vehicles on the basis of price, specifications, features by defining the competitors.
  • This is a car /product level benchmarking.
  • For eg :- Preliminary comparison of 4-5 cars in a same segment as per client’s requirement or market,Analyzing the underbody coating of cars, etc.

Benchmarking 2 :-

  • It is a detailed comparison amongst the vehicles under consideration based on various parameters.
  • It is a part/component level benchmarking.
  • For eg :-Compariosn and analysis of the weight of different cars by segregating them into different domains.

· Occupying 3 adults on the rear side can be a little difficult

· High Boot lip: Baggage needs to lifted.

·Cost cutting by providing hard/scratchy plastics.

· At this price, there are some features missing.

· Tall occupants may find rear headroom to be less.

· Fit/Finish not as per Honda standards.

· Inferior quality plastics, panel gaps, rough edges on interior.

· Infotainment screen : Low resolution screen, slow interface.
