AIM: -

1) Download following CAD data and define it as Electrical Support using Electrical Part Design Workbench. Define all the necessary properties of P clamp?

REPORT

  • Download the input given from customer side
  • Define the geometrical Parameters as;
    • Load the Part design workbench
    • Create entry and exit points on the fron and back end of P Clamp
    • Create new plane with reference to YZ plane in the created entry and exit points and a Base plane by offsetting 2mm from surface.
    • Switch to Electrical part design Workbench
    • Define the support as: - Support definition - Select part - Entry point - Entry plane - Exit plane - Base plane.
    • Since, its a bi-directional part, Again Click on support definition - select part - select exit point and exit plane as primary, secondary plane is automatically taken and base plane to be selected.

2) Download following Back Shell Data and define its as Electrical Back Shell using Electrical Part design Workbench. Define all the necessary properties?

REPORT

  • Download the input given from customer side
  • Define the geometrical Parameters as;
    • Create Back shell entry point.
    • Create axis system for back shell entry.
    • Create bundle connection point.
    • Switch to Electrical part design.
    • Define part electricaly as back shell.
    • Define Back shell connection point.
    • Define bundle connection point.

3) Create following corrugated tubes and add them in Catalogue under "Slit COT" family?

REPORT

  • Create new partbody
  • Switch to Electrical part Design
  • Select Define protection Part
  • Click on th ePart in Specification Tree
  • Provide the input parameters and bend radius with 1.5 x Inner Dia
  • Create A Catalogue and Add all the Corrugated tubes into it.
