WIRING HARNESS DESIGN
AIM;The main aim is to the connectors as per the layout given .
PROCEDURE OF ROUTING AND ASSEMBLY
- The first step is to define all the connectors required for the routing and assembly as per the procedures.
- After that add all the connectors to a catalog ,here i created a new catalog named connectors and added all the defined connectors to it.
- After that the next step is to arrange the given connectors as per the layout of harness A and harness B .
- Then convert the geometrical bundle from mechanical to electrical.
- After that start routing as per the layout using the tool multibranchables and add branch points tools
- after that check the connectivity of the bundle to check whether all the bundles are electrically connnected or not, as the following figures
- Then assemble the harness A and Harness B as the following
- then give annotations to the connectors as per the layout diagram
- Finally CAT part of harness assembly is also generated.
