WIRING HARNESS ROUTING

Aim: - complete the routing of the given harness layouts in electrical workbench and provide protective covering as suggested.

METHODOLOGY

HARNESS ASSEMBLEY

• Created a product file for the harness assembly.
• and defined that product as a electrical file with the geometrical bundle tool.

CONNECTORS

• downloaded all the cad data for all the connectors the given in the harness layout.
• defined all the connectors electrically with the required parameters and saved the data's
• all the electrically defined product files are inserted to the harness assembly product file.

WIRING HAENESS LAYOUT

• next we want to place the connectors in position as per the diagram provided.
• for that we created a sketch in part workbench with the dimensions that provided in the given diagram.
• then we place all the connectors in place with the constraint tools in assembly design workbench.

MULTI-BRANCHABLE

• After placing the all the connectors in place, next we need to connect the connectors with required bundles as per the layout provided.
• here we connect the DT06-08SA and DT06-6S with a straight single bundle with 15 mm dia. and that is the main bundle in this harness assy.

• after created the main bundle segment we provided the branch point for making the branch to the remaining connectors with the dimension provided.

• then we created bundle for both T06-2S connector with5mm diameter. and create bundles for T06-4s connectors with 10mm & 5mm diameter.

PROTECTIVE COVERING

• In this bundle we have provide protection covering with corrugated tubes, pvc tape & cotton tape.
• and we have keep proper end extremity from all the connectors and branching point.
