WIRING HARNESS DESIGN IN CATIA V5 - 3D MODELING WEEK 4 CHALLENGE

Q1. Route the following harness layout in Electrical workbench. Make assumption for harness bundle diameters. Use Following connectors as shown in layout diagram.

Add protective covering on all branches connected to DT06-2S & DT06-4S connectors. Keep end extremity at 30mm (from connectors end)

The following points are defined for all given 4 connectors:

• Connector connection point.
• Bundle connection point.
• Axis system at the connector connection point.
• Define all the connectors as electrical components.

• All the Connecters and COT tubes added to the Catalogue.

• The connectors were placed as per given dimentions.

• We use the multi branchable to add all the necessary brances , branch points in the wiring and harness assembly.

• Protective coverings were added to the harness assembly.

• Gave Extremity point value as 30mm.

• Final Electrical Harness assembly.
