Wiring harness design
1. Deutsch DT06 – 08SA
First Create a Connector connection point Create a midpoint on the contact face which will be normal to wire bundle insertion. Create Axis System concerning the point which we have created and define the axis direction as shown below,
Second, create a Bundle connection point, Switch to 'Electric Part Design', Define the part as a connector in CATIA, give the no. of termination as 8 because we have 8 entry points for the wire, Define Bundle connection point, Define connector connection point
2. Tyco 174357-2 (Female Connector):
First Create a Connector connection point Create a midpoint on the contact face which will be normal to wire bundle insertion. Create Axis System concerning the point which we have created and define the axis direction as shown below,

First Create a Connector connection point Create a midpoint on the contact face which will be normal to wire bundle insertion. Create Axis System concerning the point which we have created and define the axis direction as shown below,

4. Tyco 174359-2 (Male Connector)
First Create a Connector connection point Create a midpoint on the contact face which will be normal to wire bundle insertion. Create Axis System concerning the point which we have created and define the axis direction as shown below,

Electric Assembly Design
Import Tyco 174357-2 (Female Connector), Tyco 85229-1 (Cavity Clip), and Tyco 174359-2 (Male Connector), Select Defing Electric connection, select cavity, and then connector.
