Week 9 - Project - A pillar Design with Master Section

                                                    A Pillar Design With Mastersection

Aim:

To create A pillar design mastersection.

Given Class A with mastersection:

The given class A surface is joined to avoid the patches.

Creation Of tooling Axis:

A tooling axis is created by extracting two lines from the given mastersection and creating a point at the middle of that extracted lines.With that point a line is created in the point direction.

Draft Analysis On the Class A:

Draft analysis is performed based on the tooling axis created.

Creation Of class B:

The class A surface is offsetted 2.5 mm inside as referred to the mastersection.

after offsetting there will be some problem in the offsetted surface.

Using sweep,multi section surface,extrapolation,boundaries etc these need to be solved.

the above image is the final class B.

Creation Of Class C:

Class C surface is created by taking boundary of class A and sweeping it.

Creation Of AC surface:

The A surface and C surface is joined.

Final Component:

By trimming AC surface with B surface final component is created.

Final solid Body:

Using Close surface in part workbench the final component is converted to solid body.

Draft Analysis On Final solid Body:

Dog House Creation:

a dog house with ribs is created as per mastersection.
