Week 9 - Project 1 - Door Applique Design with Engineering Features

AIM :- To create a Door applique Design with Engineering Features and perform draft analysis.

INTRODUCTION :- locators are used to locate the plastic part to assemble with the mating parts. while the heat stake is using by heating and it like plastic welding

Check the class A surface by using draft analysis

and then create a b surface by giving thickness of 2.5mm and then trim with the classs C surface.

Now create the four way locator and Heat stakes on the applique.

now follow the some distance to create the heat stake. and the four wasy to the other end while one way is created below side.

now create a hole on the door panel to cut out the heat stake and four & two ways.

Now performing the Draft analysis on the final product.

The Door applique Design with Engineering Features and perform draft analysis has been successfully created, considering the design rules as mentioned in the given data.
