Week 9 - Attachment Feature Creation (Ribs & Screw Boss) - Challenge 1

REPORT:

The draft analysis was done by creating a tooling axis. The Tooling Axis was created by creating a line perpendicular to a flat surface present on the door handle, which was adequate for the analysis. The Tooling axis created was suitable and was able to clear the draft angle at the necessary places. The Tooling Axis created perpendicular to the surface was acceptable; hence, the Bisecting Method was not used during Tooling Axis Creation.

The Draft Analysis was done as shown above and the tooling axis was satisfactory as it cleared the draft analysis. The draft angle of 3 degrees was provided at the places necessary. A few spots at the sides showed 0deg marks. The rest were perfectly drafted.
