Week 8 - Challenge 2 - Switch Bezel Design

REPORT:

DRAFT ANALYSIS:

The drafting analysis is done and a minimal draft angle of 3deg is provided. The drafting angle is provided at the two sides on the class c surface. The draft is created along the Main tooling axis direction.

TOOLING AXIS CREATION :

The tooling axis is created by taking a point in this case the center of the base and creating a dummy tooling axis by creating a line towards the Z direction. Then an intersect line is created at 6deg from the side walls. Then using the Bisecting line tool the Main tooling axis is created by bisecting the intersect line from the side wall and the dummy tooling axis.
