Week 8 - Challenge 1 - Base Bracket Design

REPORT:

DRAFT ANALYSIS:

The drafting analysis is done and a minimal draft angle of 3deg is provided. The drafting angle is provided at the two circles and the class c surface. The draft is created along the Main tooling axis direction.

TOOLING AXIS CREATION :

The tooling axis is created by taking a point in this case the center of the circle and creating a dummy tooling axis by creating a line towards the Z direction. Then an intersect with a plane is created and two lines are created at the ribs. Then using the Bisecting line tool the Main tooling axis is created by bisecting the two rib lines and the dummy tooling axis.
