Week 9 - Attachment Feature Creation - Challenge 2

REPORT:

The tooling axis was created by using the line tool's point to direction.A point on the Class A surface is taken and extending it to a direction, perpendicular to the surface. This line is referred to ask the main tooling axis. This method was satisfactory for the draft analysis hence the bisecting method is not used. A Side core axis is also created to find the draft analysis of the dog house. The sitecore access was created using similar method of the main tooling axis. The point to direction in line tool was used. This side core Axis was only used to analyse the dog house.

The draft analysis of the main road trim was done and the analysis showed to be satisfactory. All of the Class C surfaces was cleared in the draft analysis due to the draft angle provided on the Class C surface. The draft angle provided on the main door trim on the classes surface was 3 deg. The draft analysis for the door trim was done on the main tooling axis. The draft analysis for the dog house also analysed, the draft analysis for the dog house was done on the side core axis which was created specifically for the dog house only. The draft angle for the dog house was 1.5deg. On analysing the dog house, it has also cleared the draft analysis and was satisfactory.
