RIB FEATURE CREATION FOLLOWING RIB CREATION CRITERIA:

RIB ROOT THICKNESS:

    For rib root thickness, The values should be 30% greater or lesser than the actual wall thickness of the component to satisfy the proper rib design.

FOR EXAMPLE: I have taken a coin holder part which has wall thickness 2.5mm. Hence creating a rib should be in between 1.75 to 3.25 (+ or - 30%).

    As you can see the diameter of the circle created for Rib Root Thickness is 2.8mm which satisfies the criteria and hence the rib creation is good.

Draft Analysis of rib:

   From the image, It clearly shows the rib cant be manufactured since draft is not made properly even if followed rib criteria. Hence it is suggested to make some changes in the draft angle for rib so that the draft analysis itself satisfies along with the rib criteria.
