Week 8-Challenge
MODEL 1:
AIM: To create the tetramesh for the housing using 2D trias with the given element sizes and tetra collapse.

OPERATIONS:
Geometry>quick edit to toggle the lines below the min element size.
2D>automesh to create tria elements with the given element size.
2D>Quality index to optimize the failing elements.
3D>tetramesh to create 3D tetra elements,tetra remesh.
PROCEDURE:
1.Clean up the geometry of lines with the minimal size of 1 part.
2.Give the values of min and max size of the elements and target element and tet collapse in criteria file.
3.Mesh the part1 with the trias mesh type and and element size. Then clear the min and max element size failures.

4.Create the tetra elements using 3D option after giving the tetra parameters and mesh the component.

5.Check for tetra collapse in check elements.Remesh the component if tetra collapse value is above zero.
6.Same procedure follows to the part2 of housing to as to clean up the geometry and meshing with 2D tria elements and then converting them into 3D tetra elements and check for tet collapse to be zero.
RESULT:Created 3D tetra meshing using 2D trias elements for the housing component.

MODEL 2:
AIM:To mesh the crack housing component with 3D tetra elements using Quick mesh.

OPERATIONS:
Hyper mesh>utility to mesh the component.
Tetramesh>tetra remesh to remesh the 3D tetra elements.
PROCEDURE:
1.Give the criteria of the component of element size and tet collapse in criteria file.Mesh the component by View>Hypermesh>Utility.Geom/Mesh>Quick tetra mesh.No geometry cleanup is needed.

2.Select the component and give the mesh size and mesh type and mesh the component.
3.Remesh the component if tet collapse value is above zero.

RESULT: Created the crank housing component using 3D Quick Tetra mesh.

MODEL 3:
AIM:To create the 3D tetra meshing for the chassis assembly using the Volume mesh.

OPERATIONS:
3D>Tetra mesh>tetra mesh parameters to assign then value of tet collapse.
Volume tetra mesh to mesh the component.
PROCEDURE:
1.Assign the values of tet collapse and element size in tetramesh parameters. No geometry cleanup is needed.

2.Mesh the component with the Volume mesh by selecting the surfaces or solids of the component.
3.Remesh the component if the tet collapse value is above zero.
RESULT:Created the 3D tetra meshing for chassis assembly using Volume meshing.
